Feylhin the Savage
This is a character figure from the old Rackham Confrontation line. I believe she's now available through Cadwallon. Anyway, I wanted something different from the typical "barbarian chick" paint job you normally see with this figure (or the unhealthy zombie look of the original box art). Instead, I wanted something similar to Jim Murray's Kavai the Wanderer.

Croc Men
Here's a Croc Man from Corvus Belli's Infinity game with a sniper rifle. Don't ask about the base. I got a bunch of metal base plates in a grab bag years ago, and I don't remember the maker.

Kjell and Rhasia meet Dragoth
This is a scene I worked on for a long time in between other projects. It includes all Reaper figures, including Kjell Bloodbear, Rhasia the Zombie Master, and Dragoth the Defiler. I swapped out Dragoth's original sword, which I thought was too flimsy looking with one from an OOP Reaper undead warrior. I then mounted the three on a rock I found hiking and which I'd always thought would make a good base given the natural "step."

Kingdom Death: Monster, Part I
A recent commission involved painting the initial figures from Kingdom Death: Monster game. I've often admired the design of KD figures (even though most are NSFW), so it was fun to finally get to paint some. Here's the first two figures, the White Lion and one of the four Survivors.

Wraithlord
It's been awhile. Being an adult sucks. Anywho. Here's a commission I just finished. He wanted a Wraithlord to look like a Dark Eldar archon I painted for him a couple years ago. He also wanted LOTS of guns. I give you the Rambo of Wraithlords.

Hellakin Gorecutter
It's been awhile since I updated. Let me remedy that with an older figure, the halfling thief Hellakin Gorecutter (kinda silly name, really). This was one of my early experiments at NMM, as shown by the blade.

Shaggoth
This is Games Workshop's giant dragon ogre, called Shaggoth. The original figure holds a big two-handed battle ax, which I was't a fan of. So I cut the shaft in two, cut the ax blade in two and used green stuff to rebuild the lost pieces. Two axes looked more savage for a Khorne shaggoth. "A Khorne shaggoth? But it's Slaanesh pink!" I hear you say. And now I know why highlighting red is such a tricky business.

Wayback Machine
This is a Grenadier undead dragon, which that company made in the mid-1980s. This thing sat on the shelf for some time, partly because it's true lead and I was kind of afraid to start sanding and otherwise handling it. But it eventually came together very easily with only a little gap-filling necessary along the spine.
